This show is an attempt to come to terms with the dead by looking to the past and to the present.

Eric Todd:

Gothic Portraits of Beautiful Decay

Painter Eric Todd explores dark metaphors of translucent watercolor skulls and rainbow streaked oil skeletons inspired by Shakespeare, Mexican Day of the Dead, and The Grateful Dead. This show features selections on this theme.

Almendra Sandoval:

Dia de Muertos

Almendra’s photographs were taken with A-1 Canon Cameras and created between 2002 and 2005. The majority were taken in Chihuahua, Mexico, and a few were taken in and around the Pacific Northwest. She states:

"The advantage of photography as a mechanical (as opposed to digital) process is that the camera involved is a essentially simple machine."
